Unorthodox = not the norm; thinking outside the box

Here are 5 of the most insane, unorthodox success stories I’ve come across recently.

This is a quick-read series—fast, fun, and straight to the point.

No lessons, just the stories.

1 - The Girl Who Spotified Her Resume

She made her resume look like a Spotify playlist. Each "song" was a skill or achievement that she had. The whole thing went viral and Spotify hired her. (Spoiler: pretty sure she got laid off later though unfortunately.)

2 - The Guy Who Made a $1M Selling Space on his Website

Alex Tew sold ad space on a blank webpage for $1 per pixel. He called it the Million Dollar Homepage and it actually worked. He sold all 1,000,000 pixels and made $1M. (Pretty sure this doesn’t work anymore, but it was genius for the time.)

3 - The Guy Who Wrote a Crazy College Essay

This guy wrote the most epic college essay of all time. You gotta check it out.

4 - The Guy Who Wrote a Rejection Letter to Colleges

After being rejected by colleges, a student sent them a letter back saying: “I am unable to accept your rejection at this time.” His response went viral. Pretty iconic move, even if it didn’t actually change anything.

5 - The Guy Who Designed an Ad Campaign About Himself

Alec Brownstein bought Google ads for creative directors' names. When they Googled themselves, his ad popped up: "Googling yourself is fun. Hiring me is fun, too." It worked. He got multiple job offers. 10/10 hustle move.

Unorthodox thinking is cool. You never know what it can get you.

Which one is your favorite? Lmk.
