Growing 9x faster
Welcome to the Inner Edge, where I explore insights on wealth, fulfillment, growth, and mastery.
Here are 9 lessons I wanted to share with myself as I reflect on last year.
Spend Time With Forward-Thinking People
Formula: Your growth rate = (Mindset of people around you) × (Frequency of interactions)
Audit your inner circle. Identify who inspires progress and who anchors you. Spend more time with them.
Connect to Source Energy
Formula: (Inner Clarity) × (Consistency of Silence) = Strength of Intuition
Observation will solve anything in your life. Steve Jobs says intuition is the most powerful thing ever in business (and life).
Build Fast, Break Stuff, and Iterate
Formula: Execution > Perfection
Start messy and learn through action. Every iteration brings clarity.
Reach Out to Mentors Immediately
Formula: (Opportunities Created) ∝ (Number of Mentor Connections)
Don’t wait until you feel ready. Reach out now.
Ask for Advice From Those Ahead of You
Formula: (Growth Velocity) = (Lessons Learned) / (Time Spent Learning Alone)
Shortcut your journey by learning from others’ mistakes.
Give Much More Than You Take
Formula: Relationships ∝ (Help Given – Help Requested)
Be a net contributor in every relationship. Figure out how to connect the dots and help people in your network. You can always help someone.
Discipline and Habits Compound Over Time
Formula: Success = (Small Habits) × (Consistency) x (Time)
Figure out what to eliminate and start there. One step at a time.
Get Uncomfortable Daily
Formula: Comfort Zone Expansion = Growth Potential
The harder the action, the greater the return. Get uncomfortable, because on the other side is true fulfillment. Comforts are easy to hide behind.
Create More Content
Formula: Documenting Reality → Attracts Opportunities
Content will speed up the process of anything and make it fun. It’s basically marketing as you go. Also great to teach you lessons as you reflect.
Life is about trade-offs. Every decision you make today trades time and energy for something else. What are you trading off right now?
