The 5 Types of Wealth

Welcome to the Inner Edge, where I explore insights on wealth, fulfillment, growth, and mastery.
I spent a lot of my life chasing money.
I still find myself trying to make more money.
After all, I’m young and have a lot of energy to do so.
So a part of me feels that I need to figure out how to make money first and then everything will come.
I think to a certain extent, that’s true. Making money helps with a lot of other things.
But in the past, I was only focused on making money. So much that I forgot the other types of wealth.
I always used to tell myself: Once I figure out how to make money, everything else will follow.
And for a while, it worked.
I started making more money. And then I lost some too.
But something strange happened.
Every time I hit a new milestone, I didn’t feel much after.
And as much as it sucked to lose money, I didn’t feel much after a while then either.
At first, I ignored it.
Thought maybe I just hadn’t hit the real number yet.
Maybe I needed to aim higher.
Maybe once I doubled my revenue or stacked enough cash, I’d finally feel like I had made it.
So I kept going.
And yet, the feeling stayed.
The Realization That Hit Me Hard
One night, I sat alone in my room getting ready to make content.
I was what they call a “TikToker”.
This meant my job was to make TikTok videos and get paid for it.
It was the same routine I had lived for about 2 years.
I’d wake up, record videos, watch Netflix and do some other random stuff, and go to bed.
But that day, I asked myself a different question.
If I keep going down this path, what will my life actually look like in 5 years?
Would I be any happier? Would my life be fuller?
Or would I just be another guy with money and nothing else?
That’s when it hit me. I had spent years trying to figure out one type of wealth. The financial kind. The kind that looks good on paper. The kind that makes people respect you and admire you.
But what about the other kinds?
The 5 Types of Wealth No One Talks About
Around this time, I came across a guy named Sahil Bloom.
I had seen some of Sahil’s work on Instagram and loved it a lot. Here was someone who was talking about success beyond just money.
So I tried to find a way to reach out and get in touch with Sahil.
I figured the best way to do it was to tag him on my story while I was cold plunging (he loves cold plunges).
So I did that. He ended up replying back to it and asked what I did. We chatted for a bit.
A few weeks later, me and my brother Sai decided to pay to get on a quick call with him (very worth it).
After chatting with Sahil, we had 3 thoughts
This guy was awesome (kind + humble + smart)
This guy was rich (in all areas of life)
How do we do what this guy did
And that’s when I came across Sahil’s 5 types of Wealth.
Sahil breaks wealth down into 5 categories:
1️⃣ Financial Wealth – Money, assets, investments. What most people chase first.
2️⃣ Social Wealth – Relationships, friendships, reputation. Your network and community.
3️⃣ Physical Wealth – Health, fitness, energy levels. Your ability to perform at your best.
4️⃣ Time Wealth – Freedom and control over your own schedule. The ability to do what you want, when you want.
5️⃣ Mental Wealth – Peace of mind, purpose, and fulfillment. The kind of wealth that money can’t buy.
That’s when I realized something. I had spent years pouring my energy into one of these while neglecting the others.
I knew plenty of people who were financially successful but had no real friendships. Who were rich but out of shape. Who had money but no time to actually enjoy it. And finally had all the other 4, but no peace of mind.
The worst part was that I was becoming one of those people.

Sneak peek for what’s about to come 😉
A Shift in Focus
For years, I thought the answer to everything was more money.
But money is just one piece. It’s a needed piece but it’s not the whole puzzle.
So over the years, I started making small changes.
Instead of saying yes to every opportunity, I started asking, Does this move me toward the life I actually want?
I started to put more effort into friendships, instead of just business connections.
I started eating better food and going harder in the gym.
I started protecting my time like I protected my money.
And I started working on my well-being.
And something changed.
The hunger was still there. But now I was building a life and not just trying to stack numbers.
That’s why Sahil’s philosophy hit me so hard.
To me, wealth isn’t just about making money or building a cool business.
It’s how much of your life you actually own.
If you’re someone who’s constantly chasing and wondering why it still doesn’t feel enough, I know what that’s like. It’s something I’m really working on stopping too.
So here’s the coolest part.
Sahil wrote an entire book about what I talked about above: The 5 Types of Wealth.
And I can’t wait to read it. So wanted to share with you guys too.

#1 in happiness - who doesn’t like to be happy huh?
Why this book release excites me…
Sahil is someone I deeply respect (and yes, he’s on this newsletter).
Sahil’s work has been a huge inspiration—this newsletter probably wouldn’t exist without him (thanks man).
And most importantly, this book is actually that good. It’s already a Top 10 Amazon New Release for a reason. And Sai and I ordered a ton of copies to give out to friends (hit me up if you want one).
Anyways, which type of wealth do you want to work on? Lmk below.
