The Finite Infiniteness

Welcome to the Inner Edge, where I explore insights on wealth, fulfillment, growth, and mastery.

Find the truths for yourself as you go.

You may not realize it yet, but everything has been inside of you.

It always was and still always is.

All you need to do is access it.

So how do you actually do that?

You want to start by observing your own nature.

What are your tendencies?

How do you like to eat? How do you like to clean?

What do you do on a daily basis? Who are you hanging out with?

You can think of this like a life audit. The more clearer you get on yourself, the clearer you will get about the world around you.

It won't be a quick transition, but things will get more clear as you observe them.

You may realize things that were never apparent to you before. All because you observed.

The thing about observation is that it is the direct source of truth.

No doctrine or belief can tell you otherwise.

So what is it that you are after?

Do you want more money? A happier life? More friends?

How do you achieve these things?

I believe it's through observation of the self. The clearer you can understand yourself, the quicker you can achieve these things.

Many times, we live on autopilot. We do the same things every day or hangout with the same people. And yet it feels like there's something missing. Only, you don't know what that something is.

We think it's the person we have yet to meet or the place we have yet to go to.

Maybe it's the money that's coming to our bank in the next few years.

Or maybe it's the marriage you're looking forward to.

Yet, all of those things are fleeting. They will never bring fulfillment. Only temporary pleasure.

I have found one thing that brings fulfillment every single day.

And that's becoming one with yourself.

What does that mean?

It means tuning into yourself more. Which to me feels like it's almost letting go of the self.

It's the act of tuning so into the self that you become one with everything around you.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, who I'm loving to read right now, talks about this.

He says to become the direct source through self reliance. This is the act of relying on your self.

Notice how it's relying on the "self" not on "others" or "things".

He says that the more in tune you are with yourself, the easier things will flow to you.

And to make it more comprehensible, let me give you a way to do this that's been working for me:

Connecting with nature.

It's the act of becoming in tune with the natural world. The trees, the river, even the animals and people around you.

You let this flow through you. Like you are becoming one with it all.

To me, it feels like a direct release of ego.

The act of letting go of yourself only to find yourself merging with the infinite source of existence.

It's this very act that can bring about great inner peace and fulfillment.

It's knowing that everything is flowing and just is.

There will still be ups and downs in life. Quite a lot of them in fact.

But by becoming the infinite through the finite, we intuitively understand.

This understanding comes from a direct source to you. It's not what someone said or wrote.

That's why it's so important to understand for yourself.

I am learning as I go on this journey of what it means to be connected to the infinite.

I have been fascinated with this from a young age.

Now it seems things are more clear and understandable.

What is understandable? Nothing.

That's the point. There is nothing to understand. It just flows through to you.

This state of pure existence bliss.

Becoming one with all, only to lose sight of it once again.

This is our infinite nature. Beyond all.
